This year, curious and imaginative students from the department of biology, computer science, physics and chemistry, mathematics and mechanical engineering came together to form the third generation of the team of iGEM Paris-Saclay.
Students
Maher Ben Khaled
First year of master in microbiology. I participate in this project for all it can bring me: group work, take initiatives and carry out a project.Mélanie Criqui
First year of master in cancerology. I was very happy to participate to this competition, I think it's a real human and scientific adventure. We can meet a lot of people that have the same interest that us. "Information is not knowledge. The only source of knowledge is experience."Fabio Maschi
Third year of license in Systems and Information Technology. I decided to participate of iGEM because I'm enthusiastic to work in a multi-domain project and meet many people from all over the world. "The greater our knowledge increases the more our ignorance unfolds." John F. KennedyRomain Sanson
Hi! I am 22 years old and I am in L2 Chemisty and Biology (2nd year undergraduate) at the University of Paris-Sud.Eugene Ndiaye
I am in Master 1 of Fundamental Mathematics and applications. “These are not applications that make the beauty of mathematics, but mathematics beautify applications.” Jacques TitsPierre Roux
Hi! I am a first year master student in mathematics. I take part in iGEM because i love all kind of science, and iGEM is a great opportunity to do some biology! "If i have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants. ” Isaac NewtonRaphaël de Saint-Exupéry
I study mechanical engineering (1st year undergraduate) . For me, IGEM is a great experience in biology which is not my area of expertise. This is a very interesting field and it can be linked to mechanical engineering for working on a complete project.Floriane Cherrier
I'm L3 professional biotechnology and I work at the Pasteur Institute on mosquitos that transmit malaria. "Species that survive are not the strongest, nor the most intelligent species, but those the most responsive to change." Charles DarwinMathieu Bousquet
This is my first year of iGEM and I am a student in third year of biology degree. I also learned general lab practices in a team working on DNA repair when I was intern. I came for iGEM because of the student driven research aspect. It’s a great opportunity to improve my skills and to share my interests in biology. “The science of today is the technology of tomorrow.” Edward TellerFanny Boulet
