K1497002 - Engineered Anthocyanidin Synthase with strong RBS (B0034-eANS)
We started with the original ANS sequence isolated from strawberries. We applied rational protein design and engineered the sequence with a removed tail, which blocked the active site. We then synthesized the gene with RBS (B0034) and pre- and suffix gaining the BioBrick BBa_K1497002.
