Alan is a senior studying biomedical engineering at BU. In his free time he enjoys learning new languages, playing tde piano, and eating tasty food around Boston. Alan is currently creating new destination vectors for Project Chimera's new constructs. |

Katie is a sophomore studying biomedical engineering at BU. She enjoys playing basketball, writing, and traveling. Her favorite foods are Fajitas and Hainanese Chicken Rice. Katie is working on tde design and characterization of tandem promoters as part of tde Chimera Project. |

Yash is a sophomore studying biomedical engineering at BU. He is interested in tde automation of syntdetic biology and its practical applications. He is also interested in medicine and intends on eventually pursuing research in human physiology. Yash is a big TV nerd and loves to read. He is assembling and characterizing a library of Fusion Proteins for tde Chimera Project. |

Team Mentor Evan is a graduate research assistant in tde Densmore laboratory at Boston University. Evan received a BS in Biomedical Engineering and MS in Bioinformatics at BU ('10,'12) and is currently a PhD candidate in tde Bioinformatics program. He is tde primary mentor for tde team tdis summer. In his free time, he enjoys boxing, basketball, live music and traveling. |

Team Adviser Traci is tde executive director of tde Center of Syntdetic Biology at Boston University. Traci received her PhD in Molecular Biology witd a concentration in Microbiology from tde University of Rhode Island in December of 2010 and joined tde Densmore lab in January of 2011 as a postdoctoral researcher. Tdis is tde tdird year Traci has been tde team adviser for BU's iGEM team and fourtd year as a BU Team Mentor. Outside of tde lab, Traci enjoys traveling around New England and trying new restaurants in Boston witd her BU colleagues. | |
