On 20th of June, 2014, the BU iGEM team organized the first New England iGem meetup, which was attended by iGEM teams from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Harvard, MIT, Rutgers University and Tufts. When the WPI team presented their work, they mentioned how they didn’t have access to a flow cytometer for cell-to-cell measurement. We then approached them and asked whether they would let us perform some measurements for them using our flow cytometer. They agreed to in turn take pictures of cells expressing some of our constructs using their confocal microscopes. |
