Eight of the BioBricks have been characterized and we have documented the characterization of each part on its main registry page.

The characterized parts have been submitted to the parts registry, adhering to the registry guidelines.

We have considered the safety implications during the design of our project.

Gold Achievements:

We have improved an existing part in the registry by making it more versatile.

We have collaborated with UOttawa iGEM, University of Virginia, and other Ontario teams through OGEM.

Our project considers the ethics of synthetic biology treatments in medicine.
