Probably not the typical collegiate you’d meet downtown, I’m Divya or Dividubi as my lab mates call me. Just about to graduate from Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences career at the University of València, I’m very much into the bio realm, anything from the nanosciences to stem cells or cancer.

Going beyond the obvious fact that I’m a fan of the biosciences, I’m also very passionate about music, dance and aqueous sports. Crazy on Jay Sean’s voice, his songs are my everyday “motivational mantra” and dancing, apart from meditation, is my anti-stress method. I thought of adding eating chocolate as an anti-stress method too, but no, I don’t really need an excuse for chocolate, any moment of the day is good enough to enjoy a piece of chocolate.

Being brought up on an island, the sea is Heaven on Earth for me, and it’s maybe the reason why my favorite color is turquoise.

I guess this sums it all about me: science + music + chocolate+ sea, I couldn’t ask for more!
