Ansgar is studying Computational Engineering Science B.Sc. at RWTH Aachen University. He’s currently working as a student research assistant in the field of computational fluid dynamics at the Institute of Aerodynamics. Before, he worked as a tutor for the subject "Introduction to Programming".

Regarding the iGEM competition, Ansgar is excited about developing something new from scratch to the final product in collaboration with a dedicated team of interdisciplinary students. In his spare time he likes to play the violin/piano/guitar and read thrillers, fantasy and science fiction book, as well as everything else that promises an interesting story.
