We conducted workshop and made a presentation in Hokkaido Sapporo Kita High School.

Our Goal

Through our lecture, we want high school students to know three main topics.

  1. Know what iGEM is and our activity
  2. Encourage high school students to be interested in iGEM
  3. Give correct information of gene recombination and its technology

In our presentation, we show them two topics

  1. Introduction of iGEM and our activity
  2. “What is gene recombination?” and then “How do you think about it?”

We showed them some examples which were already practical application and took time to think about gene recombination and its future.
