Checklist

This checklist contains the minimum you will need for setting up transformation.

DNA

- A helper plasmid for Transformation

- Your T-DNA plasmid for transformation

Bacteria

- Competent E-Coli (chemically/electro)

- Electrocompetent agrobacteria

Marchantia

- Sporangia

OR

- Male and female Marchantia polymorpha [from the garden], for growing spores

Miscellaneous

- Gamborg's B5 salt mix

- LB/SOC for bacterial transformation and growth

- 100mM Acetosyringone

Equipment

- Ventilated cupboard/room/box under full illumination [larger space = more transformations]
