Anna Schechtel - Chip Development
Biology (M.Sc. student)
I already completed my undergrad degree in biology at RWTH Aachen University. I wrote my bachelor thesis on 'Mechanism of inflammatory regulation by GLP-1' at RWTH Aachen Teaching Hospital. Additionally, I worked as student assistant supervising a practical course for biology bachelor students at RWTH Aachen University.
I'm happy to work in a team with students from different study paths. I hope that I can learn from and with them, so that together we can create something special for the iGEM competition. In my free time, I like to dance ballet and standard, read books and meet friends for a cup of tea.
Mainly involved in...
- development and testing of our chip system
- cloning, PCR and sequencing analysis
- the impress.js presentation for [http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:tDhWlEw2eB8J:www.fz-juelich.de/SharedDocs/Termine/IBG/IBG-1/EN/Colloquium_iGEM_Aachen.html+&cd=1&hl=de&ct=clnk&gl=de FZJ IBG-1 Colloquium] together with Markus
