Nickname: La chucha
Description: Juanjo is 6th semester Biotechonology Engennering student at ITESM Campus Querétaro. He is one of the most enthusiastic people in the team, he plays the music for the mood to work, he is always on time in the lab and his body is shouting for salsa music at any time. He is known as the “chucha” because it’s his favorite word, and is the only foreign member of the team.
Team role: In charge of the mathematical model design (he never wants to work on it). The official cooker of the team.
Special abilities: Takes ridiculous pictures of every single one of the members in the team (has his own backup for that). His hair has the ability to growth exponentially.

Juan Noé Hernández Salazar
Nickname: Mario's Best Friend
Description: Noé is a 5th semester Biotechnology Engineering student at ITESM Campus Querétaro. One of his most outstanding characteristics is that he is very sociable, and has a special facility at connecting to people. He is the counterpart of Linda because he is a major lover of motorbikes and is always talking about them and riding his own when he is at his town. He is a big lover of the animal, especially the dogs. He tell us once that when he was in middle school his nickname was Messi, that’s why we adapted it to fit better his currently reality.
Team role: Secretary of the group.
Special abilities: He is like a little old man because he’s constantly taking pictures of everything with his iPad

Mariana Guadalupe Guerrero Osornio
Nickname: La Lupe Greñas
Description: Mariana is a 7th semester Biotechnology Engineering student at ITESM Campus Querétaro. Her representative characteristic is her love for Queen and Freddie Mercury. She is constantly joking around the lab and singing love songs (but if you ask, she will completely deny it). Her food pyramid consist basically in rammen, hot dogs and “micheladas”. She does not like celebrities a lot but love scientists.
Team role: Vice president of the Synthetic Biology Group
Special abilities: Jump by semi open windows. Given the adequate conditions, she can see the sounds. Official sport enthusiast of the team.
