Molecular and Applied Biotechnology (B.Sc.)
I'm pursuing a bachelor´s degree in biotechnology at RWTH Aachen University. Right now I'm working on my bachelor thesis at the Fraunhofer Institute for Molecular Biology and Applied Ecology (IME) in Aachen and besides working on my thesis I participate in an UROP research project mentored by the RWTH Institute for Molecular Biotechnology. Both projects concern the innovative use of plant biotechnology.
My attention to the iGEM competition was drawn by my interests in molecular approaches. Through participating in iGEM, I’d like to realize a project from fundraising to completion. I also want to gain more experience in interdisciplinary teamwork. In my free time I like to do sports and to repair my 13 year old car.
