Florian aka: King Gibson

Lab Division

Florian is studying biotechnology at RWTH Aachen University. He’s working for his bachelor thesis at the RWTH Institute for Applied Microbiology, where he’s predominantly concerned with molecular cloning.

While being fascinated not only by bioscience, but all fields of natural sciences, he’s looking forward to work in an interdisciplinary team for iGEM and help a project come to fruition. In his free time, Florian plays the trombone. Apart from his involvement in the local wind orchestra, he has played in different orchestras in the region.
