1.7-DYT (recipe for 500 mL)

- 2.5 g NaCl

- 8.0 g tryptone

- 5.0 g yeast extract

- add 5 M NaOH to adjust the pH at 7.0 (few drops will be enough)

LB (recipe for 1000 mL)

- 10 g tryptone

- 5 g yeast extract

- 10 g NaCl

- add 5 M NaOH to adjust the pH at 7.0 (few drops will be enough)

For preparing plates add 15 g agar.

SOB (recipe for 1000 mL)

- 0.186 g KCl

- 2.4 g MgSO4

- 0.584 g NaCl

- 20 g tryptone

- 5 g yeast extract

- add 5 M NaOH to adjust the pH at 7.0 (few drops will be enough)

SOC (recipe for 1000 mL)

- 980 mL SOB

- 20 mL 1M Glucose

Autoclave after mixing.
