In contrast to an engineering project, calculation is not the most essential element in biology. The result could be completely different if we repeat the same experiment. No matter how many painstaking yet joyful hours I have spent with agarose gel or culture plates, I am still spellbound by the unpredictability of the laboratory. And of course, I had so much fun doing lab with my lovely team members.</p> |

Meet the Team
We are real people. Everyone here at Peekaboo lives and breathes what we do. More than a job, it's our passion! Our goal is to have these characteristics influence everything we do.
Ken Lau
Bioengineer & wiki builder

Hi, I am Ken and a year three student in Mechatronics. iGEM gives me a rare chance to learn about synthetic biology and how to conduct biological research. In contrast to an engineering project, calculation is not the most essential element in biology. The result could be completely different if we repeat the same experiment. No matter how many painstaking yet joyful hours I have spent with agarose gel or culture plates, I am still spellbound by the unpredictability of the laboratory. And of course, I had so much fun doing lab with my lovely team members.
Sam Tinson-Wood
Creative Designer & Illustrator

Sam is 100% creative. He brings ideas to life and completes the full package at Peekaboo. When he’s not realising clients aspirations, he's doodling on the back of an envelope (we have a lot of envelopes). An avid swimmer Sam has participated in the Island Games no less than 3 times and even medalled.

Steve & Andy (clearly photo shy) are the backbone to the technical side of Peekaboo. If not building website backend’s or mobile apps for our clients such as the NHS, they are creating brand new tools or testing the latest trends keeping Peekaboo the forward thinking design agency we are!
Brett White

A true all-rounder, Brett not only looks after clients and project manages but he also designs and builds websites. Married and a father to a lively 2 year old boy, Brett is a passionate family man. He also loves to play football (but not very well) and can often be found overdosing on coffee.
