<p>Derzeit arbeite ich im Labor mit den DNA-Konstrukten, die wir vorher erstellt haben und die E.coli die Fähigkeit der Magnetisierung verleihen sollen. Dabei orientiere ich mich an einem koreanischen Aufsatz, in dem ähnliche Konstrukte verwendet werden. Dabei impfe ich Vorkulturen unserer auf einer Petrischale gewachsenen Kulturen an und lasse sie über Nacht wachsen. Am nächsten Morgen verdünne ich sie und lasse sie erneut wachsen. Bei einer bestimmten Wachstumsdichte gebe ich eine Chemikalie dazu, die die kodierten Proteine von E.coli zusammenbauen lässt. Im Anschluss lasse ich sie für 12-16 Stunden in einem eisen- und manganreichen Medium zur Aufnahme dieser Metalle. Anschließend schaue ich unter dem Mikroskop mit und ohne Magnet wie sie sich verhalten.
