Cryopreservation of bacteria

Reagents:

- Glycerol 50%

Steps:

1. Grow bacteria in liquid LB medium until the optical density in a spectrophotometer (600 nm) of 0.5 - 0.8 abs.

2. Add to the required amount of bacteria 1 volume of 50% glycerol in 1.5ml microtubes.

3. Cryopreservation temperature at -80 ° C.
