Aim

The aim of this week was to provide everyone with a basic understanding of synthetic biology especially for those with a limited biology background. We were also familiarized with techniques we would be using throughout the project

Monday 23/6/14

Background talks with our supervisor, outlining basic principles of DNA replication, transcription, and translation- laying the groundwork for the benefit of the non-biologists. Completed our lab form.
