Abstract
- There is the material which is harmful to a creature in the natural world. Cadmium is a kind of the heavy metal in one. We thought to make Escherichia coli having the system which collected harmful cadmium efficiently. We decided to make two kinds of recombination Escherichia coli to complete this system. One has characteristics to release aspartate after addition of cadmium ion, resulting to collect other E. coli. Escherichia coli recognizes aspartic acid as a positive chemotactic factor. The other one can trap cadmium ion outside the bacteria to reduce the influence on cell body.
