Emergence of complexity can be found in various fields. We might take a crystal as an example: atom units are arranged in an ordered whereupon a pattern is formed. The structure is characteristic for the crystal as a whole and is responsible for particular features of the compound. From simple units a complex whole is built. As a part of our human practice project we are investigating in the role of complexity in fields outside our own. What is complexity for a philosopher? Are feelings always complex?
