Patrick Opdenstein - Lab Division

Molecular and Applied Biotechnology (B.Sc.)

I'm pursuing an undergrad degree in biotechnology at RWTH Aachen University. Right now I'm working on his thesis at Fraunhofer Institute for Molecular Biology and Applied Ecology in Aachen. Besides my bachelor thesis I participates in a UROP research project mentored by the RWTH Institute for Molecular Biotechnology. Both projects concern the innovative use of plant biotechnology. My attention to the iGEM competition was drawn by my interests in molecular approaches. Through participating in iGEM, I’d like to realize a project from fundraising to completion. I also want to gain more experience in interdisciplinary teamwork. In my free time I repair his 13 year old car or do sports.
