To meet the requirements, some member of team ITB_Indonesia was participated in biosafety seminar and workshop, organized by Permi and P2PKO ITB. This workshop held on August 23th 2014. Biosafety Seminar
Safety is an important part of research in synthetic biology, especially in constructing the genetic material of living organism. It is very important for team ITB_Indonesia to know and learn about safety lab. To meet the requirements, some member of team ITB_Indonesia was participated in biosafety seminar and workshop, organized by Permi and P2PKO ITB. This workshop held on August 23th 2014. The event talked about safety procedure in laboratory, working with animal ethics test, laboratory safety levels, etc.
This seminar and workshop was expected to provide knowledge about laboratory safety of iGEM team and support team ITB_Indonesia wetlab activities.
