Project Discription

The gene which is related to the synthetic route of DMS, and to the formative process of Magnetosome has not been revealed.

In the nature, cylindrus has the former genes, and Magnetospirillum magnetotacticum has the latter genes.

When researchers study about them clearly, they cannot find the all key if only we use each microbes.

Then we try to make these two mechanism happen in reality by using E.coli and hope to contribute to the studies.
