Introduction

We are a team of 8 undergraduate students from the University of Sheffield participating in a global synthetic biology competition. Our project focuses on improving wastewater treatment systems using engineered bacteria, particularly focusing on the breakdown of fat accumulations within the drainage and sewage systems.
