Week 1-2:
“...[Scientists are] embracing a wider vision of nature managed for a wider array of goals. Instead of focusing on the past, they are looking to the future and asking themselves what they’d like it to look like.” We used droppers and swabs to collect our samples. We ran the algae simulation at our studio space, on the roof, and from our apartments. Using "safe" and natural occurring materials in spaces outside the lab was a key aspect of our project. |
