Natasa received her Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2009. She was the founding adviser of iGEM at CMU back in 2012. Her research interests include modeling and analysis of complex biological mechanisms, systems and synthetic biology, and system design and control in biology and medicine. She has previously taught graduate level computer hardware courses, and is currently teaching the introductory digital design course at CMU.
