The Interlab Study
We found that the construct we built into a chloramphenicol vector (BBa_J23101 + BBa_E024) was drastically
more fluourescent than the same construct in a kanamycin vector (BBa_I20260).
We followed the preperation protocol on
the official interlab page.
As for our method of measurement, we used 96-well plates and a plate reader that adjusted for OD595.
We used non-fluourescent e. coli as a control.
