She actively participated in efforts to raise funds to enable us enter the competition as well as during the stages of formation and consolidation of the Brasil-SP team and project design.

His great capacity of thinking in new outlandish ideas helps us with our project. Directly from a cold land, he is a boy as young as synthetic biology. Better known as Yoshi, he is carrying our team to give 1 UP in iGEM.

He believes science and technology as a way to improve and unite companies' activities, environmentally correct practices and social initiatives toward a better world. His work focus in enzymes optimization, with bench approaches to directed in vitro evolution of an aromatic amino acid ammonia-lyase derived from an in silico metagenome and consensus sequences chimerization process, through DNA shuffling and also error-prone PCR.

Professor Flavio Henrique Silva

     Dr. Henrique-Silva's lab has a tradition in applied research, such as metagenomics and prospecting of genes with biotechnological interest. He is the current Coordinator of the Postgraduate Course in Evolutionary Genetics and Molecular Biology at UFSCar. He has encouraged students to participate in activities that provide international experiences and dissemination of scientific knowledge to the population.

Iêda Maria Martinez Paino

     She is involved in the characterization of parts by flow cytometry.
Her research interests are Nanomedicine and Nanotoxicology, investigation of the interactions between nanoparticles/ nanomaterials and graphene with normal and cancer cells for cytotoxicity and genotoxicity evaluation in vitro for cancer treatment.

Paulo Teixeira Lacava

     Works with Agricultural Microbiology, Environmental Microbiology, Microbial Ecology, Plant-Microorganism Interaction and Microbial Biological Control. Guided us toward Bacillus subtilis Sporulation and Spores Germination.

Richard Charles Garratt

Currently PhD. Richard Charles Garratt is a professor at University of São Paulo. He has experience mainly in areas such as structural biology using crystallographic techniques and molecular modeling. He is also a member of the Sao Paulo State Science Academy and the Brazilian Science Academy.
