The RHIT team worked in the Rose-Hulman Institute ofTechnology Synthetic Biology Lab. The lab allows for work with Safety Level 2 organisms. Our project involves S. cerevisiae and E. coli. We expect no biological hazards to arise from working with these Level 1 organisms.

The lab contains several safety measures
