Laboratory Safety

For our research, we utilize two different organisms in two different labs. First we use E. coli in a biochemical engineering lab and Methanococcus maripaludis in microbiology lab. Safety is taken very seriously in both of our labs and pants, closed toed shoes, and gloves were worn at all times.
