Collaboration with SynOx
The Oxford Society of Synthetic Biology (SynOx) is an initiative led by Oxford postgraduates. Their aim is to develop a synthetic biology community across the university and to increase the reputation of this discipline. SynOx was therefore pleased to hear that this year, the University of Oxford will (finally) participate in iGEM. Our team has been offered help and support early on by Synox and we were very grateful that they asked us to join them in organising Randy Rettberg’s visit and the UK iGEM meet-up. SynOx also has agreed to help future iGEM teams, ensuring that iGEM will become a continued tradition at Oxford.
More information can be found at: http://synox.co.uk/
