Doctorate in Pharmacist and graduated in Systems and Synthetic Biology, my first experience with the iGEM competition was in Evry (2013) where we suggested using iron-chelating bacteria as an alternative treament to hemochromatosis. The experience was intense and stressful, albeit very addictive. Since I'm back in my hometown, I'm doing this all over again but this time as a supervisor at the INSA-Lyon. Beside my overextensive dutchness in me, I'm having a whole new experience as an instructor this year. So far, my favorite experience during this summer was to relentlessly tease Juliette Paillet and test her mental toughness. Secretly, I still pray for the Lord Iron Frog, our Savior and Salvation who daily bears our burdens.
