iGEM COLLEGIATE DIVISION HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION REGISTRY International and multidisciplinary, iGEM is much more than a competition. University students from different disciplines and backgrounds cooperate to find solutions to today’s biggest challenges. This year, over 3600 participants from 245 universities will compete in the Giant Jamboree. Students interested in synthetic biology can participate in iGEM at a high school level. With over 20,000 parts, the iGEM Registry is a growing collection of genetic parts that can be mixed and matched to build synthetic biology devices and systems.
