The Media Design Practices iGEM / Art & Design track / 2014 / team consists of multimedia artists and designers that use a range of research methodology, interaction design, and conceptual narratives to explore the implications of future technologies. Media Design Practices is a graduate program at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena California.

2. Marcus Guttenplan 3. Xiaochen Yang a passionate, versatile and driven UX designer and design researcher with a strong background in visual communication. Xiaochen leverages a human-centered design focus and carves out new space via her design concepts to bridge technological innovation and engaging user experience.

His background is in journalism and graphic design; he holds a Bachelor of Science in News-Editorial Journalism from the College of Media at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Fine Arts from the Media Design Practices program at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, where he was the 2014 Milken Family Foundation Post-Graduate Design Fellow.
