Dr. Blaga Popova
Dr. Popova is a postdoc and working on the molecular basis of Parkinson’s disease using yeast as a model system. She was very glad to help us to address questions about fungi, especially yeast. She also helped us a lot about the robot management and so on.
Heidi Northemann
Heidi works in the administration of Department of Molecular Microbiology & Genetics. She guided us to search for the funds and helped to deal with finances.
Martin Engelhaupt
Martin is a PhD student in Daniel’s lab in the institute of Microbiology & Genetics. He works on the impact of rainforest transformation on phylogenetic and functional diversity of soil prokaryotic communities in Sumatra. During our project, he gave us many technical supports and advices. And he was always there in the lab for help.
Ute Ludwig
Ute Ludwig is an employee at the institute of Microbiology & Genetics. She is in charge of the practical course material and provided us with experimental equipments such as glass bottles, heat blocks, gel chambers, racks and many more. She also gave us support of lab organisation and cleaning.
