Team

Biochemists

Glen Gowers, Philipp Lorenz, Corinna Oswald, Andy Russell, Francesca Donnellan, and Emily Pritchett will take charge of the wet-lab work and biochemistry aspects of the project.

Philipp Lorenz

Phil2.jpg

A third year biochemist, it was Phil's idea to bring iGEM to Oxford, and he continues to ensure our project runs as smoothly as a German train schedule. More importantly, he provides snacks for meetings and buys us drinks.

Corinna Oswald

Corinna.jpg

Our St John's biochemist, Corinna, has been there from the beginning and she knows everything.

Glen Gowers

Glen.jpg

The guy who makes everything happen.

Francesca Donellan

Fran.jpg

Not just a member of the biochemist team but also leading our outreach programme, no task is too big or small for Fran. This girl can provide sandwiches for 500 people at 24 hours' notice and look good doing it.

Emily Pritchett

Our most recent addition to the team, Emily has just finished her second year at Teddy Hall.

Andy Russell

Biochemist and stash man; the team relies on Andy for science and for style.

Engineers

Matt, Oliver and Leroy will be responsible for the mathematical modelling, software designing and realising any practical desires.

Oliver Vince

Matt Booth.jpg

Ollie is our keenest team member - nothing can stop his motivation. As well as being in charge of the maths and software, he feels responsible for our entertainment, and makes sure to keep us laughing (whether with or at him).

Leroy Lim

Leroy is a second year Engineering, Economics and Management student at St John's College. During term, he spends his time trying, but generally failing, to balance the three R's of Oxford- rowing, 'rithmetic and rowing. During iGEM, he's our engineer and self-appointed social sec.

Matthew Booth

Matt has just completed the second year of his engineering course at St John's College. He's lived in England all of his life and has played rugby, the only real sport, for as long as he can remember (when he isn't busy engineering...)

Lawyer

Siân McGibbon

Sian.jpg

Siân is the model lawyer along with everything that implies.
