Project: the idea. We came to The Sexy Plant project after many brainstorming meetings including all the team. It would be impossible to define authors here: we all contributed to the design of the project.

Pheromone Biosynthesis. Done by XXX (who mainly ) and XXX (mainly ).

Modelling. Ivan Llopis worked in the FBA modelling to try to obtain estimation of the pheromone production and to try to optimize it. Alejandra Gonzales did the pheromone diffusion and moths response modelling to help decide where and how much sexy plants we should put in the field.

Pheromone Release. Alfredo Quijano also supported by

Biosafety. Alba Rubert

Policy & Practices. Alejandra Gonzales organized and developed the interviews with the stakeholders.

Biobricks. Lucia Estellés performed all the work to amplify, clone and submit our Biobricks to the registry. XXX also preparedmost of the characterization data for the Registry.

Wiki. Performed by Ivan Llopis helped by Alfredo Quijano with the designs.

Poster.

Talk. Lucía Estelles, Alfredo Quijano, Alejandra González. Also Alba Rubert performed Lucía's part when she was absent.

Supervision

All the Valencia UPV supervisors and advisors performed outstanding jobs. Their implication in the project as well as their email addresses in case it was required to contact them, are as follows:

Wetlab work, including standardization and orthogonality, mainly supervised by Cristina Vilanova (PhD student:cristina.vilanova@uv.es) and Juli Peretó (professor at University of Valencia and instructor. Juli.pereto@uv.es); stability and robot design supervised by Manuel Porcar (Researcher at the University of Valencia. manuel.porcar@uv.es)

Modeling. FBA was supervised by Yadira Boada, with the collaboration of Maria Siurana.Diffusion was supervised by Alejandro Vignoni.

Human Practices. Supervised by Violeta Beltrán (violeta.beltran@biopolis.es) with the collaboration of Manuel Porcar. Lucas J. Morales supervised modelling of the patentability equation.

Wiki. Supervised by Victor and Alejandro.

Communication and logistics. Alberto Conejero.

Acknowledgements

We are indebted to XXX for making possible funding and logistics; And finally, we are very grateful to all the staff in the Universitat Politècnica d València and particularly to our Rector, José Francisco Mora Más, without whose sincere support The Sexy Plany Project goals would have not been achieved.
