Among his personal interests are general applications of new technologies in society, biotechnology, crowdsourcing projects, open development and anything that could bring more freedom, independence, social development and improvement in crucial aspects, such as energy, potable water, fuels, food and, mainly, education. He believes science and technology as a way to improve and unite companies' activities, environmentally correct practices and social initiatives toward a better world. Currently working in the establishment of the first DIYbio and Biohacking group in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Her research interests are Nanomedicine and Nanotoxicology, investigation of the interactions between nanoparticles/ nanomaterials and graphene with normal and cancer cells for cytotoxicity and genotoxicity evaluation in vitro for cancer treatment.
