ATTENDING
VOLUNTEERS
The iGEM 2014 Giant Jamboree will be from Thursday October 30 to Monday November 3 in the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts, and we're looking for volunteers to help with the event! Help us ensure that every iGEM participant has an amazing experience!
Volunteer Duties
- Assist attendees
- Staff presentation rooms, special event areas, information desk
- Generate updates for social media outlets
- Setting up in the mornings, and breaking down in the evenings
- Potentially: livestreaming presentation sessions
- Checking attendee badges
- Other tasks as necessary
We're asking that volunteers commit to at least 2 days since this is a multi-day event. Please keep in mind that your first priority as volunteer is to your designated area and that this may mean that you will miss out on some/all presentations, but we will do our best to make sure you have free time depending on the number of volunteers. Unfortunately iGEM HQ cannot provide financial aid or accommodations for volunteers but food will be provided throughout the event.
