Wellcome Trust

The Wellcome Trust was established in 1936 as an independent charity funding research to improve human and animal health, as well as supporting the public understanding of science. It is the UK’s largest provider of non-government funding for science research and one of the largest providers in the world.

Bioline

Bioline is a primary manufacturer and developer of specialized molecular biology products such as ultra-pure nucleotides, DNA polymerases and markers to name a few, used by the life science and research industries. It was first established in London in 1992. It is now a wholly subsidiary of Meridian Bioscience Inc.

New England Biolabs

NEB was first established in 1974 by Donald Comb as a laboratory of experienced scientists. It became one the first companies to produce restriction enzymes on a commercial scale. NEB are leaders in the field and now produce and supply recombinant and native enzyme reagents for life science research.

Life Technologies

Life Technologies is a brand name for a family of biotechnology products and services provided by Thermo Fisher Scientific; an American multinational company created by a merger in 2006.
