Some more diffusion experiments were performed, this time the gels were washed before putting them in the agar plate with the nisin sensitive <i>L. lactis</i> strain

This week the diffusion experiments will be redone for the last time. We're adding a positive and negative control to make sure our results are as they should be. There was one more change as well to the protocol: after inducing we've never really washed the gel to make sure the nisin is gone.

We've heard from several sources nisin is really sticky so before we put the gel on a plate it will be washed.
