The partnerships
The partnerships: The junction of two so different institutes is no wonder. For the challenges that it proposes to solve, the team needs depth multidisciplinary allied to sync to aggregate together medical and laboratory challenges that are in the LIKA's field of study, with the already recognized C.E.S.A.R.'s technology expertise.
WHO IS LIKA: Laboratory of Immunopathology Keizo Asami (LIKA), is a laboratory of the Federal University of Pernambuco, founded in 1986 that has several lines of research. Among them, the diagnosis and the proposition of new therapeutic procedures. Works in the development of strategies to increase resolution for diagnosis of genetic diseases, infectious agents, and acquired autoimmune diseases. The LIKA's mission is to build quality human resources and develop methods, systems and biotechnological products associated with diagnostic and therapeutic methods human or animal, for better quality of life for all. Develop scientific and technological activities aimed at creation and transmission of knowledge.
WHO IS C.E.S.A.R.: Recife Center for Advanced Studies and Systems (C.E.S.A.R.) is a nonprofit institute that generates innovation when working with the solution of complex problems using information technology and robotics. With a multidisciplinary team, the CESAR offers differentiated positioning solutions to developing, operating in various industries. Synthetic biology is the newest area that the institute intends to operate in the coming years.
