Requirements for a Bronze Medal:

Register the ZJU-China team

Complete and submit Judging form

Use the iGEM wiki to share our project GENE SOCKET

Use the Registry of Standard Biological Parts to share our parts

Plan to present a Poster and Talk at the iGEM Jamboree

Describe our project clearly and distinguish student's work from work done by others

Document 22 new standard BioBrick Parts used in our project and submit them to the iGEM Registry

Additional Requirements for a Silver Medal:

Validate that new BioBrick Part or Device of your own design works as expected by experiment

Document the characterization of these parts in the Main Page section of their Registry entrys.

Submit these new parts to the iGEM Parts Registry

Our iGEM projects involve important questions related to research environment and medicine

Additional Requirements for a Gold Medal:

Improve the function OR characterization of an existing BioBrick Part BBa_K1223012 and enter the information of new parts BBa_K1433005 in the Registry

Describe approaches that our team used to address the important research environment and medicine questions involved in our project GENE SOCKET

We accomplish DNA recombination by Lambda red. We accomplish accurate selection by bistable switch. The socket is an integrated system, which can solve the two problems together. The omnibus design concentrates all the elements into one plasmid and one circuit. The highest simplicity can greatly save your time and work. Bistable switching makes continuous operation much easier to come true; our accompanying tools (GS-BOX) and the wonderful design of its solution is qualified enough to deal with different kinds of circuits. Simple but powerful, Gene Socket can catch up your endless imagination.
