Protocols
Preparation of plasmids on a small scale
Procedure
- Pick a single colony from a plate, give it in a a 15 ml Falcon-tube with 10 ml LB-medium and incubate at 37 °C and overnight.
- Pelletize 3 ml of the overnight-culture and discard the supernatant.
- Continue according to the Quiagen QIAprep ® Spin Miniprep Kit Manual or the Biozyme EasyPrep ® Pro Plasmid Miniprep Kit Manual.
- Store at – 20 °C.
