Protocols
LB plates
Reagents
16 g | Agar |
1000 mL | LB medium |
Antibiotics |
Procedure
Add agar to LB medium and heat in microwave until the agar has completely dissolved. Perform next step at laminar flow cabinet! Let cool down a bit. If required, add antibiotics to Agar-LB medium. Cast plates in petri dishes (approximately 20 ml per plate) and store them at 4 °C.
