In addition, all coffee shops involved in the [https://2014.igem.org/Team:Austin_Texas/human_practices#Caffeinated_Coli Caffeinated Coli SXSW outreach event] were clearly and truthfully informed about the subject of synthetic biology, our lab's focus, and the science behind Caffeine Coli. All coffee shops were asked for permission to publicly display the resulting Caffeine Coli data. Those that requested their data not be shown were respected and pulled from publicly displayed graphs.
