The Calcium Kit
TEAM: The William & Mary iGEM team consists of seven hardworking members of various years and backgrounds! With five different majors between them, everyone plays a crucial role in offering a unique perspective.

 

PROJECT: To create a set of tools for inducing, measuring, and counting intracellular calcium spikes in bacteria. This would enable future study of calcium in bacteria, as well as lay a groundwork for the creation of genetic circuits that manipulate calcium dynamics in both pro- and eukaryotic organisms.
