Human Practice

The HKUST iGEM 2014 team has three main components for human practice: Handbook, outreach, and safety and ethics. Our goal is to bring the idea of synthetic biology to wide range of audience and various areas of the society. We target group audience freshmen in college, students in secondary school, and finally, members within the iGEM society. Each group of audience has potential to contribute to field of synthetic biology in different ways, and we believe giving same amount of effort and attention to all is the best approach to ensure the healthy growth and development of the field of synthetic biology. Additionally, we have conducted interviews with professors regarding various aspects of our main project.
