Markus Joppich - Embedded Systems and Administration Tamer

Computer Science (M.Sc. Student)

I am mainly working in the computational division of our iGEM Team, which also is mainly influenced by the fact that I am studying computer science at RWTH Aachen University and am currently finishing my Master's degree in Computer Science.

Regarding iGEM I really wish to learn new things in biology, as this is my subject of application, and also the area of my master's thesis. Additionally I would like to explain bio.* students the world of computers, as I think that both worlds can benefit from each other.
Regarding iGEM, my main focus will be the Software and Hardware part of the project, but occasionally people might see me in the lab doing some strange things some biology :-)

As part of our project: Playing around with Arduinos is fun :)
