Measurement is a critical aspect of synthetic biology and one that receives an an increasing amount of attention each year. Parts are required to be characterized as part of the medal criteria which means measurement of different aspects of their performance is an important aspect of your work.

The goals of the measurement track are to:
  1. Get students informed and excited about measurement
  2. Find out what measurement assays teams have available
  3. Lay groundwork for future more complex measurement activities in iGEM
